Q: When does my subscription auto renew?

Studio Pass is a yearly subscription that auto renews annually on the original date you signed up. To check the exact date that your Studio Pass subscription will auto renew, you can do the following: 1. Check the confirmation email you received when you signed up for Studio Pass which will list your next renewal date. 2. Go to chefsteps.com/subscriptions. Why am I seeing the paywall screen when I have a Studio Pass membership?

If you have a Studio Pass membership and see a paywall notification when you are trying to access Studio Pass content, please try the following:

1. Double check that you are logged in to chefsteps.com under the account that was used to purchase Studio Pass. You can confirm this by following the steps here.

2. Refresh the page once or twice to see if that gets you past the paywall notification.

3. If the two steps above did not resolve the issue, please try clearing the cache. You will need to log in again, and then you should be able to view the class. Instructions for how to clear the cache on different browsers are below.

How do I redeem my Studio Pass gift?

Accepted Answer

Once a gift is sent, the recipient will get an email to allow them to set up a chefsteps.com account and the membership. The recipient must be signed in under the email address that was used for the purchase of the gift. This is an automatic process.

If for any reason the gift email does not arrive, or it ends up in a spam or promotions folder accidentally, the gift can be redeemed at https://www.chefsteps.com/studiopassgiftredeem.

I have a Studio Pass membership, why can’t I see the recipes?

To access ChefSteps Studio Pass, sign in to ChefSteps with the email address you used to make your purchase. The “Sign In” button is in the top right corner of the chefsteps.com home page.

Once you’re signed in, choose “Studio Pass” from the top menu bar to see all Studio Pass content.

If you’re already signed in but can’t get into Studio Pass, you could try logging out and then logging in with the email address you used to purchase Studio Pass. But if for any reason you can’t access our Studio Pass content when logged in, please open a support ticket so we can help you!

I have a Premium membership. What does that mean for me in terms of Studio Pass?

Great question! In October 2019, we introduced an annual subscription option called Studio Pass so that we are able to continue to produce high-quality content for our community.

Please know that your Premium membership is still in tact and will continue to access all the existing classes, in addition to new content that is added to Premium in the future, keeping in line with the original outline for Premium.

Studio Pass does not take away that of Premium but adds a new set of tools that deep dives into the science of cooking, exclusive behind the scenes with our team developing and perfecting content, and online Q&A sessions with our chefs.
